These are powerful antioxidants. Cacao is one of the world’s richest sources of flavanols (like epicatechin), surpassing even green tea and red wine.
Theobromine:
An alkaloid similar to caffeine but with a milder, longer-lasting, and less «jittery» stimulating effect. It acts as a vasodilator and a smooth muscle relaxant.
Anandamide:
Known as the «bliss molecule,» this is a neurotransmitter our bodies naturally produce. Cacao not only contains anandamide but also compounds that slow its breakdown, prolonging a sense of well-being
Essential Minerals:
It is exceptionally rich in Magnesium (crucial for muscle and nerve function), Iron, Potassium, and Copper.

The Finca Palma Dorada encompases an area of 35 hectares (86 acres) in the middle of the Ecuadorian Amazon region. Here, together with the indigenous people of the rainforest, we have managed to combine the sustainable production of cocoa for exclusive chocolate, the preservation of the jungle, commercial forestry, tourism and the cultivation of a variety of vegetables and tropical fruits.
The Finca Integral Palma Dorada is located in the municipality of Tuyano near Puerto Misahualli, Province of Napo in eastern Ecuador. The soil is characterized by an exceptionally high gold content of 250 millimeters per cubic meter (0.25 ppm) and includes areas with gold concentration in excess of 500 millimeters of gold per cubic meter (0.5 ppm).
We started operating on the Finca in 2016 as an alternative to gold mining.
The strong natural flavour of the cacao highlights the natural bitterness of the fruit.
The fermentation process, wich includes the use of lemon verbena and banana leaves, adds a further richness to the taste.
Palma Dorada is located on an ancient river bed, which contains quantities of gold. Golden electrolytes are widely spread through the soil, enriching the cacao.
Puma Dorado chocolate is not just another chocolate bar, but is low in sugar, and contains no salt, gluten, milk or artificial ingredients.
The chocolate is vegan and suitable for coeliacs.
Sustainable Production
In order to maintain an exclusive and premium product, the cacao beans are fermented in a traditional way for 6 days and dried on the farm under the Ecuadorian sun.
Puma Dorado is carefully manufactured using the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critial Control Point) food safety certification while mantaining traditional recipes and artesanal production methods.
